Sources
Altaica Urban rests on three public sources: the planning and environmental permits the Brussels-Capital Region publishes through Nova, the UrbIS address register, and the OpenStreetMap basemap. The data is reloaded every night; where the two differ, the official source prevails.
The sources
| Source | What we take from it | Website |
|---|---|---|
| Nova | Planning and environmental permits, planning information requests | nova.brussels |
| UrbIS | Addresses, streets and communes | datastore.brussels |
| OpenStreetMap | Basemap | www.openstreetmap.org |
Nova and UrbIS data are published by the Brussels-Capital Region under CC-0, meaning the public domain; the OpenStreetMap basemap is under the ODbL licence, which requires attribution.
